This was compiled by a good raver friend of mine... thought I'd share.

A true raver...

1. Not only knows the meaning of PLUR, but lives by it. That's PEACE, LOVE, UNITY, and RESPECT.

2. Can appreciate not just ONE style of music, but any style of music, from jungle to HHC to trance.

3. Has given out countless free hugs to strangers and loved every second

4. Spends a large portion of their time making kandi, and gives a large portion of it away

5. Arrives at the rave at 9pm, and leaves the rave at 5am (well, most of the time )

6. Can and will rave SOBER - and have an equally good time.

7. Appreciates every colour of the rainbow, and highly enjoys anything bright, shiny, or sparkley!

8. Has held the hand of a random stranger and just danced their heart out.

9. Knows the importance of fresh fruit, ring pops, and water water water.

10. Has experiened the CUDDLE PUDDLE!!

11. Gets something out of EVERY rave. No matter how small the venue was, no matter how few people showed up, no matter how early it got shut down by cops.

12. Has destroyed a pair of shoes or two -- or possibly their own feet...

13. Steers clear of drama unless absolutely necessary!

14. Has passed out somewhere very random. (i.e. the floor of Union Station)

15. Knows what its like to hear a thumping bassline coming from SOMEWHERE... in a quiet, empty place at 6 in the morning. :S

16. Has practically showered in their own sweat (..ew).

17. Has walked into a bathroom expecting to use it, and ended up having a 20 minute conversation (be it with a person, or a mirror..)

18. Knows the true meaning of exhaustion,

19. And the true meaning of EPIC.

And finally,

20. A true raver knows that a rave is not just a party. It's an invitation extended to ALL, never judging, never discriminating. An invitation to come together. A conjoining of souls and a connecting of hearts. A rave is a celebration of life -- of peace, love, unity and respect. It's a place to belong, and a place of no boundaries. A true raver knows that a rave is not just a party, it's a mission.
